grandezzaOn Course - Grandezza

I decided to take a break from the fast past action adventure film making life style I had in Los Angeles and sit back and enjoy my life in Southwest Florida for a few months. Of course I could not just sit around and do nothing. My brother, Tom, told me we should produce a golf show together. He found the financing, Leah Fuscardo joined our team and we began producing “On Course.”  TradeMarky Films was the production company. I Produced, Directed and Co-Hosted it. Tom Meyers came up with the idea, Co-Hosted it and handled all the Finance & Marketing. And Leah Fuscardo Co-Hosted and wrote the shows. We all did much more than just that but those were are essential roles. We shot and edited 8 episodes in less than 4 months. They aired for a year and went to number one in its time slot. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work. In addition to us we had 3 cameramen, two production assistants and one editor, thats it. We would shoot for 3 days and edit for about 3 weeks. This episode is for Grandezza. A beautiful community with a magnificent golf course and ammenities.

Did I mention that we shot this in the summer time in Southwest Florida?  We had to bring several shirts and pants due to the amount of sweat. We eventually wore shirts with a special material that did not show the sweat. But it was still very hot. We would shoot all day in 100 degree heat. It kept us in shape. Nike donated all the clothing for the show as long as we showed their logo and gave them a credit.  I would fly the DP, Charlie Gruet down every time to shoot the shows. And than we would Federal Express the tapes to Los Angeles for the editing.  Matt Alejos was our editor, who worked double shifts to get all the shows done on time. Charlie actually started to date his wife during the shows and flew her down with her a couple times. Way to go Charlie! This episode is for The Forest Country Club. This was a special episode and we focused on the History of this club and how it overcame great odds to become one the the premiere Golf and Country Clubs in the area.
